A great edition for the price Review for The Lord of the Rings.I'll keep it brief, this is not a review of the actual story but of this specific edition. I have attached many pictures that I hope help you decide if this is an edition you want to buy.Pros:- The font is big and easy to read.- 65 beautiful illustrations by Alan Lee that bring the story to life.Cons:- Slipcover is an opaque plastic, whit a modern look that I think doesn't complement the book.- One or two blank pages before and/or after each illustration.Overall I think this is a great edition and it's worth buying.Where is this artwork? I am beyond disappointed. The font is too small to read, but I thought the artwork would make up for this since I already own editions with larger font. So many beautiful pieces of art were uploaded! Where can I find this edition? I just wasted $27. None of this artwork is found in the paperback edition. Is it found in the $90 hardback edition? I’m debating if I should just send this back since I can’t even read it 😭 These books are tiny!Not like the picture For some people it doesn't matter, but for me, when I bought a serie of 4 books, the covers have to be the same, but here, I have two different cover, ugly, and two others who respect the esthetic of the movies. It's supposed to be a gift, I'm very upset.

Major Helper for Both AB and BC Students Great for an AP calc student, I took both AB and BC and used this Barron's book each year. This is probably the cheapest you can get them unless you get a used one or borrow one, but honestly a new one is worth it. It won't be as much help if you already see someone's answers next to the question or if you're not allowed to write inside it (I seriously bought a new one after AB for my BC year because it wouldn't have helped me if I saw all of my answers already written out). This was definitely a huge huge help for me throughout the years as well as cramming close to the AP tests. Sometimes Barron's doesn't do the best job at explaining topics but the whole style of the book will help prepare you for the exam. I got 5's both years so Barron's is definitely doing something right, good luck!Good A/B Calc AP Test Prep Using this book to prepare for the AB test helped our son achieve a 5. As advertised, the practice tests seemed a bit harder than the actual test. Good luck!Good questions is about it The examples aren't really detailed and it doesn't really teach you like a normal textbook. It gives really vague explanations and confusing examples.

Utterly Beautiful What a beautiful book.Nabeel Qureshi opens to us the beauty of a devout Muslim family, their whole lives ordered by their faith and their traditions. Their love for Allah and for one another is palpable in the pages of this book. It is a beautiful picture and one I am grateful to Nabeel for sharing.Then Nabeel takes us step by step through his search for truth; a search he begins with complete confidence that he will confirm the claims of Islam. For myself, I was reliving the search I had pursued forty five years ago, when my embrace of existentialism had left me so empty and purposeless that I had to reconsider the claims of Christ, just in case they might be true. I found myself anticipating each next step in Nabeel's intellectual journey, as each critical aspect of the truth of Christianity was substantiated by his investigations. I knew in advance what he would find and what he would conclude, because I had walked the same path and reached the same conclusion: the claims of Christ are confirmed by history, science, and reason, if you approach them objectively, seeking to know the truth, instead of seeking to prove your already-held beliefs.But I also knew the feeling Nabeel expressed at the end of his intellectual journey. A rational conclusion still leaves an unsatisfied heart. To conclude that history sports the claims of Christ is not the same thing as knowing Christ as Savior and Lord. What an eye and heart opening book for a self-described apologist that tends toward arguing people into the kingdom of God and has more of an Islamic enemy mindset ... that is until devouring this book in record time. I have a much more compassionate heart to the lost condition of Muslims and how to hopefully engage with a sincere heart knowing what they are captive too.Christians need to be more informed about their faith and deeply serious about it, since the average Muslim is more more so than most Christians. It is their very identity. Is our identity truly in Christ? This book will challenge you as it has me in mind, heart, and Spirit. Until just recently, I had never heard of Nabeel. The Internet was blowing up with postings and due to his associate with RZIM I wanted to know more about him. So thrilled that I got to know him through his powerful testimony and the incredible social sacrifices that he made in coming to the Lord Jesus.I wondered like so many why he was taken so young and this verse came to mind as a valid reason.Jn12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."Nabeel's life and legacy is now spreading rapidly and hopefully informing many Muslims and Christians alike. Thank you dear Brother now absent from the body and present with the Lord.
